Aquatic Therapy – The Bridge to Wellness
For individuals rehabilitating from injury, surgery, or a chronic pain condition, traditional or “land-based” physical therapy might be too difficult or stressful at the outset of recovery. Aquatic therapy establishes a Bridge to Wellness for those who are ready to reclaim their physical abilities but are not yet ready for traditional PT.
Southern California Aquatic & Physical Therapy is the best location for aquatic therapy in Orange County. Just a short drive from Santa Ana in Huntington Beach, our facility offers a therapeutic pool that is maintained at 92 degrees for an optimal healing environment.
Our pool, which was voted Cleanest Commercial Pool in Southern California by the Orange County Health Department, is sanitized with a saltwater solution that does not irritate the skin like chlorine.
Benefits of aquatic therapy include relaxed muscles and improved circulation, as blood flow increases to areas of the body that need healing. The weightless environment allows clients to perform strengthening exercises without causing further damage to the injured area. The exercises can be performed with less pain and swelling, encouraging greater patient confidence and range of motion.

What Are Patients Saying About Aquatic Therapy Treatments?
I’ve been suffering from left knee pain, multiple left knee surgeries and severe nerve pain for the past couple years, I was referred to Southern California Aquatic Therapy.
From the first moment I stepped in the front door Julie’s staff made sure I felt comfortable, helped me rehab after multiple surgeries, listened to what I thought was causing the pain, took a lot of time to assess my pain level and helped me get back to walking. Her staff helped me rehab and build back my muscle, and mostly has helped me work out a plan to relieve the pain.
Overall, I’d give a solid 5 stars for having friendly staff, great pool facility, knowledgeable staff to help patients with rehab, really clean facility, providing great 1-to-1 attention and for giving me some straightforward treatment and advice on how to get back to pain-free walking.
I would totally recommend this place!!!!!! Thank you Julie and staff for your help.
