Cypress Physical & Aquatic Therapy
Welcome to Southern California Aquatic and Physical Therapy!
We are Orange County’s comprehensive provider of aquatic therapy and physical therapy for rehabilitation and recovery from surgery, injury, and chronic conditions.
What Are the Benefits of Aquatic Therapy?
At Southern California Aquatic and Physical Therapy, we believe that aquatic therapy is The Bridge to Wellness for patients who want to begin recovery but are not ready for the ordeal of traditional, “land-based” physical therapy.
By stepping into our therapeutic pools – which were voted the Cleanest Commercial Pools in Southern California by the Orange County Health Department – patients can regain strength, balance, flexibility and range of motion with a variety of exercises specifically selected for your unique needs.
These pools are sanitized with a saltwater solution that helps with the healing process, and the water is a comfortable and constant 92 degrees, which improves circulation and recovery.
Aquatic therapy can benefit individuals recovering from the following conditions:
- Back or neck injuries/surgery
- Car accidents
- Cardiac patients in need of reconditioning
- Chronic pain conditions, including:
- rheumatoid arthritis
- Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) or RSD
- Foot or ankle injuries/surgery
- Joint conditions related to obesity
- Joint replacement surgery
- Nerve conditions, including:
- peripheral neuropathy
- peripheral nerve injuries
- post-surgical peripheral nerve rehabilitation
- Post operative rehabilitation
- Shoulder/hip/knee injuries/surgery
- Spine surgery
- Sports injuries requiring quick rehabilitation
- Work injuries
- …and more!
What Do Patients Think of Southern California Aquatic and Physical Therapy?
Julie, the owner/PT, is amazing. She takes time to listen and is thorough in her assessment, implementation of exercises, and documentation. Their PTA (Faith) listens and reevaluates your program with the PT frequently to make sure that the exercises are meeting your goals and not causing further harm. The PTA and PT there work hand in hand.
I’ve been going there for 4 months three times a day and have seen drastic improvements in my well-being and mobility. The pool is always clean as well as the facility itself. The staff are super friendly and completely approachable. I highly recommend them for all your physical therapy needs.
Julie and Faith have worked with CRPS/RSD and Fibromyalgia patients and are always coming up with new ideas to increase my strength and endurance.

Our physical therapists can also provide a number of advanced manual therapy techniques, including soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, myofascial release, scar mobilization and desensitization techniques.
