Dr. Fiedler, a native of Huntington Beach, California, received her Bachelor’s degree in Physiology with a minor in Exercise and Sports Science from the University California Santa Barbara. Alex completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. After graduating, Alex spent 7 years working as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in the Bay Area. She continued her education, obtaining the Orthopedic Clinical Specialist Certification, “OCS.” The OCS is a medical specialty dealing with anatomy and biomechanics of each body region, application of specific tests and measurements, musculoskeletal pathology, and effective treatment strategies.
Alex cares deeply about helping people feel better, injuries, disease and age can make it difficult for someone to move without pain, or to move at all. Alex loves improving client’s quality of life, reach functional objectives, recreational goals through exercise, manual therapy, and other evidence based physical therapy treatments.
In her spare time, Alex loves the outdoors and being active. Her favorite activities include, riding bikes, hiking, camping, backpacking, playing softball, going to the beach, Angel’s games, and hanging out with family and friends. Her current goal is to improve her skills at tennis and golf so she can challenge her husband.
