Julie a native of North Andover, MA, received her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA. After relocating to California, Julie went on to receive her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, Mount Saint Mary’s University, Los Angeles, CA. Julie continued her education and graduated Doctorate of Physical Therapy, Chapman University, Orange, CA.
Julie founded Southern California Aquatic and Physical Therapy in 1995. Julie achieved the Orthopedic Clinical Specialist Board Certification in 2008, in addition to her passion for orthopedics, she is driven to find evidence-based solutions to help those suffering from chronic pain and opioid usage. In 2017, Julie completed the Therapeutic Pain Specialist Certification, the first certification of its’ kind in the country focusing on the latest pain research and treatment options. She has been a speaker for a National Conference for the Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Association and other organizations. Julie has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 1989 with focus on orthopedic, aquatic and private practice.
